Educators and Ed Tech on Capitol Hill
Last Friday, the Smarter Schools Project hosted our first event at the US Capitol! Attendees packed the room to hear what panelists Daisy Dyer Duerr (Principal, St. Paul, AR), James Richardson (Principal, Adelphi, MD), Kerry Gallagher (Teacher, Reading, MA), and Mickey Bryant (Teacher, Washington, DC) had to say about the role of technology in today’s classroom. Greg Toppo (USA Today) moderated the discussion, which ranged from how tech can complement good teaching and help students learn at their own pace, how principals and administrators can support staff in ed tech integration, teachers’ perceptions of technology, and more.
And you can’t even see the people lined up in the hall outside…
